SUMMARY:Music For a Summer Evening - Tayside Jazz Quintet
DESCRIPTION:A welcome return to St Matthew’s for Neil Gibbons with the Tayside Jazz Quintet; The “anchor” on bass\, Graham Robb\, rhythm king Andrew Fraser on drums\, rock star Gordon Baillie on guitar\, Neil on Sax and Vocals and Gordon Murch on keys to set the scene. They are all members of the Tayside Big Band but wanted to do something different and perform some of the great jazz classics from across the genres. Look forward to a rich mixture of songs and instrumental numbers from Fats Waller in the 1930s to Amy Winehouse\, Nina Simone and Paul Simon\, taking in John Coltrane and Miles Davis along the way – a musical celebration that will surely get your feet tapping! \nCome early for a refreshment and chat in the café before the concert –  open from 6.45pm.
